How KSG builds with AI

We build software that uses generative AI to help people make things — newscasts, podcasts, civic tools, community platforms. Here is what we hold ourselves to, in plain language, and where to find the full policies for each product.

Five commitments, every product

A person is responsible.

Every piece of content published through a KSG product has a named human behind it. AI is a tool. It does not hold responsibility; people do.

We say when it's AI.

Content produced or substantially altered by our AI carries a disclosure the customer cannot remove — spoken, on screen, or in metadata, depending on the medium.

No real person without consent.

We do not clone anyone's voice, face, or likeness without their documented, revocable consent, and never to make them appear to say or do something they did not.

No synthetic media presented as real.

Generated or altered images, audio, and video are never passed off as authentic recordings of real events. Illustrative content is labeled illustrative.

Your content is yours.

We do not train models on customer content without separate, explicit, written consent. Our model and hosting subprocessors are listed publicly.

A higher bar for news

Audiences treat news differently from everything else, and so do we. On Newscastor.ai, any organization that declares itself a news organization is held to a newsroom-grade Editorial Ethics & Corrections Policy — mandatory human review before anything airs, a named Responsible Editor, a source-of-record rule, and a public corrections log. That policy is modeled on the published standards of The Washington Post, The New York Times, and the Associated Press, adapted for a platform where a machine sits between the reporting and the audience.

Accounts that don't claim the news label — entertainment, commentary, creator content — aren't claiming that trust, and are held to the base PollinatorStudio policy instead.

When something is wrong

Anyone can report a problem with something a KSG product produced — no account, no reason required. For Newscastor newscasts, write to corrections@newscastor.ai. For anything else built on PollinatorStudio, corrections@pollinatorstudio.ai. We acknowledge within one business day and tell you the outcome. Policy questions go to ethics@pollinatorstudio.ai.

These policies are living documents, reviewed at least every six months and whenever an incident shows us a gap. Each one carries a dated change log.
