Every event in town, in one place people actually check.

Small towns do not have an events problem. They have a findability problem. The chamber has a calendar, the library has a flyer, the school has a Facebook group, the winery has an Instagram post — and a resident who wants to know what is on this weekend has to check six places and still misses things.

MyHometown.events brings them together, one town at a time.

Live now in Mariposa and Oakhurst. More towns are being added — deliberately, one at a time, so each one launches with a calendar worth opening.

What it does

One calendar, gathered from where the events already live.

Discovery by where you are

Residents and visitors see what is happening near them, not a national feed filtered down to nothing. The unit is the town, because that is how people actually plan a weekend.

Organizers get an audience

A church supper, a county fair, a gallery opening and a high-school game all compete with the same silence. Publishing once into a calendar the town already checks is worth more than another post nobody sees.

One town at a time, on purpose

A half-empty calendar teaches people not to come back. Each town launches only once there is enough on it to be useful on the first visit.

For residents and visitors

What is on this weekend?

That is the whole question. No account, no app to install, no algorithm deciding what a town should care about. Open it, see what is on, go.

For chambers, counties and downtown associations

You already keep a calendar. It just is not where people look.

Most towns have three or four partial calendars maintained by people with other jobs. MyHometown.events is the shared surface those efforts can point at, so the work already being done stops being invisible.

Where it fits

Part of how KSG builds for small communities.

MyHometown.events sits alongside the rest of the community portfolio — CivicHub360 for institutional memory and project tracking, GrantsOS for funding, CoWorkHQ for shared workspace, and Frost Shop Marketplace for local commerce. Built in Mariposa, for places that look like Mariposa.

Want your town on it?

Tell us where you are and what already exists — the chamber calendar, the Facebook groups, the newspaper listings. We will tell you honestly whether your town is a fit yet and what it would take.
